Smith Lake is has been drawn back to full pool and should hold there untill the rains hit again. The water in the backs of the major coves has color and the main lake channels are clear. Fishing secondary points or wood cover in the backs of pockets should bring some fish your way. Color of choice lately has been green pumkin fished any way you'd care to throw it. Chartruse and white spinner baits in slightly stained water can get you hooked up as well.
