yes the crawdads are alive. they usually run about 2.50 a pound which is more than enough for a days fishing. the thing you need to do is to bring them to " room temp" slowly. do not let them pack it in ice. get a big cooler with about a 1/2 inch water and dump them in there. the more room that they have to move around the more lively they are. the problem with buying them is that they are a little to large for bass fishing(in my op) therefore a throw net is still the best opt. you obv. live in hsv. so american seafood on south pky close to green cove rd is the place. good luck. let me know how it goes.
