Water Temperature: 52
Water Clarity: 1 foot

Lake level back down to around 7ft below , 4ft lower than last weekend , good stain over lower half of lake with visibility 8 to 10 inches in most places and water temps back in lower 50's , which all adds up to a very inconsistant day . Started at daybreak with temps comfortable in the upper 40's but rain set in about 7:30 and stayed til 11:30 . Caught 5 fish early on spinnerbait and fluke in timber pockets , 1 was a fat 3.9lb spot and rest were in slot . When rain started that bite ended . Caught 6 more before noon on finese worms back out on deep rocky banks with 1 LM over 16 and 5 spots in slot . Real hard to find a pattern between weather and dropping water level . Hardest day of fishing in a while on Wedowee , hope someone else faired better . A couple of reports from friends say the LM bite up the big river is beginning to pick up . Don't forget about the Pine Grove VFD tournament set for next Sat. the 7th , blastoff from 48 Bridge , $65 entry , $1000 1st place and top 10 places guaranteed . Coming week could really turn things on if the weather man's not lying . Good Fishing , Jeff
