There is a simple formula a person can use if a scale is not available.. I remember Roland Martin talking about it .. It actually works.. I cannot remember the exact formula .. Maybe someone can help me out here.. It is: Length x girth divided by something or another... It was a formula for the weight of bass.. I can't see why it would not work for crappie..I just wished I could remember what the formula was........... GOOD FISHING TO ALL........ Louis T.
