Before I get lambasted for appearing to call you a liar (I am not), let me say that it is possible that you did weigh your fish, but if so, either your scales are dramatically inaccurate or something extraordinary is happening.
Again, nothing personal, but a 15.25 inch crappie won't weigh anywhere near 3 pounds. Let alone over 3 unless it is grossly abnormal and/or mutated.
