Caught four, two 1# striped bass, a shad, a 5 inch bass (large minnow), on Sunday the 14th. The water was 4 foot at shore and drops quickly to 20 foot main channel. the bank had good woody cover from fallen trees. I drifted with the current 3 to 4 feet from the shore. I caught my 4 between 12:30 and 1:30pm on a yellow curley tail grub moving slow. They were just past an obstruction (fallen tree)which slowed the current down and along the calm bank just entering the swift current. I was south of Redstone Arsenal on Wheeler Lake.
