Nice catch. Could you share a little more info as to what depth and so. I took my father Saturday and we drifted with minnows all over spring creek and did not catch one crappie. We fished from 12 to 24 feet deep (bumping bottom) and nothing. All we caught was one stripe and 2 big drums. Lost a brand new spinning rod and reel to what I figure was a big drum. Without any notice the rod just shot off of the boat.
