Come to think of it I can see where a small boat could be hard to see at sundown and sunup. I've just never had the problem seeing small boats going as slow as I do. (not my choice, boat won't go faster). I agree a person should not put theirself in a dangerous position just to catch a few fish
Bad boaters come in all brands (panfish, catfish, bass, pleasure).
I used to live in G'ville for several years and as you know there are alot of bass tourneys down there. My experiences from Bass fishermen there tell me they are typically very considerate folks expect when they take off in waves from the boat ramp and then I think enthusiasm overcomes commonsense. I've had more bad experiences there with pleasureboaters and panfishers than I have with bass folks.
