went crappie fishing saturday to smith, put in at the park and fished some really good looking places but nothing, finally found a submerged log on the south bank south of goat island and caught seven really nice crappie, one weighed 1 lb 5 oz and another one was 1 lb 4 oz, didn't catch many but all were really nice fish, and they were full of shad minnows....6 of them were on minnows and 1 on a panfish assassin....and monday night all of them will be on the dinner table
