i too live in Madison and used to fish that creek weekly. if you wade to the right of old madison pike youl eventually end up behind Madison Academy, but about 1/4 mile it starts to get about belly deep and the large mouth bass are all over the place. you can catch a lot of bream too! me and a buddy fished for 3 hours and caught at least 30 a piece, some edible size but others kinda small, it was just a blast on the fly rod! the walking trail back there has plenty of cut throughs to the creek too, lots of good largemouth fishing, ive got a bass hole back there but it hasnt produced since the new bridge was built..oh well try your luck!
