I take my two small children (ages 3 and 10mnths) out to Arrowhead landing area to bank fish. We don't always catch something but there are plenty of spots along the road to pull off the road a bit and set up on the bank. The water is down right now and the water is very shallow along the banks. May not be the best fishing but it is fairly safe. Hope this helps ya.
