I have done this several times. You can order an adapter from Bass Pro Shops or Cabelas, etc. or just make yourself an adapter from a piece of treated 2x4 (that's what I did). Cut a a piece about 3" long and 1 3/4" wide. Cut a "V" in the wood (long ways) to receive the rounded housing of the trolling motor. Attach the transducer to the flat bottom of the adapter. Then use an appropriate sized screw clamp to attach both to the motor housing. I use electrical tape to secure the transducer cable to the shaft of the motor. Do this as far as needed to keep from having loose cable to trip on and to keep it neat looking. It works great and I have experienced no interference.
