i live in and fish gville every year for crappie. i have NOT had any problems locating and finding crappie.
i remember last year...finding a nice location...catching 15 or so nice crappie with 15 other fishermen around me catching absolutely nothing.
i'll argue that the majority of the old fart fishermen in the area will continue to pound the same old spot over and over and over again...and complain that they are not catching fish.
get off your old rear end and go find some fish why don't ya?
fishing the same spots in 2006 that you abused in 1986 is not necessarily a smart or productive approach to finding and catching crappie.
think a little...try new techniques...try new places...
the crappie are there. period.
most fishermen tend to be stubborn. just cause you caught a limit using a chartreuse bass assasin on a sunny day at 3pm doesn't mean that everyday at 3pm you can walk down to the same spot with the same results.
