You bet! I fish up close to the dam at the big hazard sign. I tie the jig up about 10 inches or so above a 1.5 or 2oz weight and throw out as far as possible into the boils and let it bounce the bottom. Been catching alot of drum too, but there's always a chance that a nice stripe or smallmouth will hit it. I've drug hybrids up to 10lbs, saltwaters around 20, and a couple of football sized smallmouths before. Bite should be getting good around Halloween.
