The general agreement on this board, based on past discussions, is that there are few laws that restrict jug fishing. It seems I recall some people "thinking" you should have your contact information on the jug, but I don't recall any hard evidence. As usual, I have already said more than I know. I have never been checked while jug fishing so I can't say if I have always been legal. The one thing I can tell you is try to be courteous... in other words, don't go below the dam with a dozen other boats and start tossing out jugs/noodles in the current. They tend to get hung up on people's boats (props and trolling motors).

If you use the search engine for this site, you will find several hits to threads related to the word "jug" and perhaps find some other tips too. I have had luck with minnows at certain times/places.
