The answer to your questions above is yes, yes, and...yes. This time of year I have caught fish all of those ways. I know that is a little confusing. Probably pitching jigs, tubes and worms are used more along the deep weed edges than cranks.If there is no current running(look for eddies around river channel buoys) the fish along the main river channe ledge aren't as active, which makes sense.Monitor the reports on the BFHP and various guides web pages, like www.fishlakeguntersvilleguideservice.com.
