Fished Beulah Bay today for shellcracker and bluegill. Water temp was 74 in the bay and 71.5 in main river. Found many empty beds and did not catch even one fish there. Moved on upstream a couple miles after 2 hours and found shellcrackers in about 2 1/2 feet of water near weed beds and blow downs. Were hitting crickets and nothing else. Caught about a dozen keepers (1 lb.+)caught about another 30 throwbacks. It looks like the spawn is over and they are off the bed now. Waiting for the may fly hatch now.
