Don't blame you at all for asking, fishing a new lake can be tough without proper research, and asking here is a good start. Hopefully other will post or send you email directly. The only advise I really wanted to give you right now is it's way too early to predict what the bass will be doing 6 weeks from now. The weather is the biggest factor, If we return to highs in the 20-40's for a while, the fishing will be completely different compared to if the highs averaged 40-60's. I would suggest waiting a month and re-posting. Otherwise, the current information is useless and any predictions are nothing but a guess. Your buddies in your local club should be able to help you understand the typical patterns of bass. Such as "they will be getting close to the spawn and may be shallow", or "still hanging in the creek/river channels ready to move as soon as the water warms". It's just too early to tell. You also might want to include where you plan to launch. Guntersville is a Big Lake and you can have different things happening at different times in different locations.
