I forgot in the first post... I built a pier that is over water 5-8 feet deep. I have not put the planking down yet and was thinking about filling the area under the peir with reef materials. Since it is a one time deal, I thought about artificial stuff that would not rot (artificial Christas tree sounds good, but too costly?). I probably have an area that is 5x50 feet and 5-8 feet deep so it will take some doing. I don't really care if it is fishable, and would probably be better if not fishable to stave off would-be poachers from taking everything in the pond.
Thanks for any advice!
