My wife has never caught anything larger than a bream off the pier, and I'd really like to put her on to a good day of Crappie fishing. I'm an avid bass fisherman that has paid little attention to Crappie since my youth. Can someone tell me the Earlist I could expect a good catch and which Alabama lake would be best? Thanks
