Finally getting around to posting this message.Wed., my buddy Larry and I went to the Elk river. We put in at the ramp below the bridge just west of Elkmont. Went down stream about an half a mile to Sugar Creek. Caught 26 White bass, 1 to 11/2 pds. Using 1/8 Red Road runner with a 3 in. Chartreuse twister tail. Tried usning different colors, no luck went back to red and Chartreuse. Went back on Thursday with same techneck and caught 20 more. Some folks down here call them Strips, up Illnois way we call them White Bass and there are Yellow Bass also. When I find out the name of the Bridge, I will post it Later.
Keep your line in the water.
