Lowrance and Eagle are owned by the same company. Both are made in the same factory. You get what you pay for. I have the 320 and can see a 1/32 ounce crappie jig at 65ft+ deep. I can drop a drop-shot rig through a school of shad and see the sinker and worm, then drop to a fish below and catch it. I am sure the 4000 watts of power may be better at something, but how much more power do I need when I can do this??? The main thing is to learn how to set the unit and not depend on automatic settings. There is a web-site that eagle has, I think it is eaglesonor.com, that has an excellent demo for alot of models that I would recommend spending a couple of hours before heading out on the water with you new unit no matter which one you buy!!
