In February the water is usually still at wintertime levels to be able and catch any flooding rains. That usually means 593.2-594 ft above sea level, with 595 being full pool. The water around the docks in front of the hotel is 2-4 ft but once you get a good distance out it drops off, and the main shallow obstacles I can think of you have to watch out in Spring Creek are the roadbed between the hotel docks and 431 bridge to the south, and the right hand point as you are motoring out from the hotel docks. Other than that there's plenty of depth, though I can't claim to know ALL the potential shallow obstacles. Its certainly nothing like runnin Weiss lake or the upper end of Eufaula where there are acres of 1 ft water out in the middle of the lake. A good map is always a must.
