I am a big believer in the crappie bite under the bridges at the big G. I am planning to fish starting November 30 for a few days. In early October we had what I would call "spotty" success, we fished under the bridges everyone else does that time of the year. Town creek we found to be full of small crappie and huge catfish bites on tuffies. A 12 pound blue cat on 4lb. test line takes about a hour to get in. Short creek we found to be loaded with skipjacks and little bass and tiny stripes. Various depths, white panfish assasins, tight lined tuffies and alot of scanning the electronics produced 27 keepers in my boat 1 day...... not too bad for 2 guys. The keeper crappie were very healthy and made great fillets. I was wondering if anyone else who frequents this site will give me any info on fishing in late November or early December? Fish stories..... advice...... or hear say will be really appreciated.
