Thanks for report.

Agree on the Yamaha motors. I have a 150 ProV that is 15 years old and runs almost as good now as it did new. Good maintenance over the years is the key.

The peak last year for me was Nov 8th, Water temp was 65 in channel outside Ditto.

However, we had much more rain (3.54 in Oct last year compared to .10 in Oct this year) and the water is 552 at Ditto now where as last year on Nov 8th it was 557 and I was catching them in 3 feet of water in the tree tops.

Question for you and Kerry....Where should they be now that the water is so low ? Most of the good cover (tree tops) are on dry land. Should I be fishing deep water near the channels. I not an expert on crappie but assume they always hang/suspend near cover and don't school around like white bass, etc.

Also, I use tuffies and rarely use jigs. This normally brings bass and skipjack into play which the kids love to catch.
