Carter, On a normal year the fish will start bedding on the first full moon in April. You may start by looking for a hard bottom on the side of the bank that the sun shines on the most(The warmest water). If you reserch tounament results for this time of year you will see these patterns(1) weed lines (these are areas mainly on the ridges that run for miles on the river channel where milfoil start growing first)(2)On an area of a hump where no grass was growing (This is hard bottom surrounded by mifoil) (3) Flipping boat houses (this is on a year where we have a lot of rain and the water is high)
