Good to at the least see a crappie question. I wish I could help you. Try www.crappieunlimited.com They do stake beds and work hard to keep Weiss a great lake for slabs. I fish east central Alabama and I have been catching plenty on small shad. Nothing beats the natural bait alive or dead. Just keep it moving. Good Luck..Keep your lines tight.
