BPrice, I am glad that you enjoyed the article. When I say staging area, I mean the depth is in relation to the bottom. It is my experience that this effect occurs because this is the depth that the forage are holding. I have seen many times when you pull up on a likely spot and locate fish, they will be right off the bottom. Not far away there will normally be big balls of shad suspended right above these fish signals. I put about 98% faith that these signals will be sauger.
