I know how its done just not exactly where but i got some friends that are catching them by the limits fulls..huge ones ,they are fishing in places on the old river channel really deep usually between 25 and 40 ft believe it or not using a split shot and crickets or the best bait they say is wax worms.Usually near where a creek runs into the old river.I do know that one of the honey holes is located near alreds,after you come out of the marina,look for a green buoy, there has been some kind of underwater ditch dug there in the past years and you can see the fish suspended on the edge .They just throw the wax worm out and let it slowly drift down .They do the same thing on the old river bank.Just watch your line as it sinks and you will see it when they hit it .They also catch a lot of channel cats fishing for the bream ilke this too.Hope this helps even though it is vague
