In addition to what's been stated it also says "1914" just to the right of 1813. Almost as if it's a range.

Basically it reads:

GEN. ANDREW JACKSON
1813 - 1914

Then there is something below it covered by branches. I'll see if I can't climb up the wall tomorrow and get the rest of it and post back here.

Some of the old timers in Guntersville have a story about it - but I have no idea of the legitimacy of said story so I'll spare you. ;)
