Joseph, I do not know if they still do it but I got mine from the court house 15-20 years ago. These maps are really topo maps of the over all land. My maps are getting in bad shape but I have laminated most of them and they are holding up well. These maps if I remember right are from the late 1800's to 1901. When I got mine, I had to pay I think 20 dollars for a grid set. These maps are kind of tricky to read because the tennessee river is so much smaller to recognize. In some places it is not much more than a small creek. These maps show cemeteries before they were moved due to the building of the dams. They also show springs. Like I said, try your local court house. Good luck!
P.S. They also show Indian burial grounds, camp sites and believe it or not, wagon trails. There are also some old mines that are shown.
