David, thanks for the info. I got a map out after reading your post and found what looks like a big slough and marked at the upper end "Major Miller's Trailer Park". It is just over a mile before Ryan Creek turns toward goat island. I had in my mind that the flats were before that slough so I certainly appreciate your information.
