Steve, lots of up to date reports on the bass Fishing Home Page. Find some milfoil or hydrilla close to deep water(like 6-10 ft deep off the edge). Fish topwaters early (your choice, poppers, buzz bait, Spook, etc) then start moving deeper, like slowly swimming a BIG worm on a 1/8 oz sinker ticking the tops of the grass edge as it tapers out into deeper water. Dropping a heavy jig into matted grass can be feast or famine, requires a stiff rod and heavy line. Thats an oversimplified way to start, but with some Web searching you can find more info, maps etc. I'll be fishing this weekend on the lower end as well. I'll be the only white Ranger Reata fish-n-play on the lake, pull up and say hi if you see me. bass wishes, Joe J.
