I've got a spot that my father and I sunk a bunch of Christmas trees at years ago and I haven't fished it yet. My father goes to this place when the water is low and doesn't catch much of anything. The thing is, when the water level is normal the structure is probably about 15-20 ft. deep. Also, the structure pile is on the end of a long point with 40-50 ft. deep water on either side and in front.
My questions are:
Is the structure too deep?
Is it good to put the structure pile on the end of a point?
Would it be a good idea to fish it now with minnows going about 12-14ft. deep?
Any info is greatly appreciated.
