if u got a bunch of small bream , it will be a good idea to put some 3 and 4 lb bass in there, theyll help control the bream pop. as far as transportin to your pond its not illegal, would be illegal to take out of your pond and put in the river, also theres some stuff you can put in your livewell that will slow the fish down , kinda like druggin them , and make sure to keep a little ice in the livewell, not enough to put the fish in shock though, in reality its kinda like the state done with smith lake lol they brought in the big stripers ..just dont put too many bass in there and stay away from the crappie,, if your friend wants to start over he should check with kens fish hatchery in georgia, they have the georgia giants , they are bream that get up to 5 lbs in a 3 year period, now thats one heck of a bream.
