I witnessed an 80+ flathead and a 40+ blue from off the downstream bank of the hwy 67 bridge. If you're CAREFUL, it is possible to park very close to the guardrail near the Priceville side of the bridge (the biggest bridge, that is, because the biggest bridge is the one that crosses the actual Flint Creek Channel.) You'll see what to do when you get there. An easy cast straight off the bank will place your bait in a great spot.
There's big cats in Flint, if you want to fish for them. Use at least a half pound of skipjack, the biggest hook you can find, and the heaviest rod you can find locally.
In the unlikely event you collect aluminum, somebody is trying to see how many beer cans they can throw out down there.
