Use live crawfish at night to catch them.
You can't use a light and you
will need to sneak up to the creek bank
like an indian and make sure the moon does not cast your shadow across the water.
They feed mostly at night on live natural food sources from the area and are extremely hard to catch on lures.
The same applies for small clear ponds.
Finally, it is also possible to catch fresh
water eels at night on these creeks with set
hooks using liver.
Good luck and keep us posted on how
that moon-less night fishing goes on
a snakey creek bank !!
