Had a small club Bream tournament at Mink creek this past Saturday. Seems as though everyone had a great time despite the boat traffic from the BFL tournament letting out of Goosepond. Everyone caught alot of fish. Shellcracker are on bed strong and will continue this week. Everyone seemed to find fish in shallow water. 3 feet or less. My partner and I did well, winning the tournament. Our fish were on the north side of the river up past goosepond. Fish hit red worms and keystone minnows. All of our fish came in 3 foot of water or less. Find scattered millfoil and you will find the fish. Things to watch out for is stained areas of water. Keep close watch on small pieces of millfoil that have been broken off, about an inch long and floating. YOu are real warm if you see these signs. Everything is in full bed mode right now. Good luck and be careful.
