I believe it will be warmed up enough by Sat and
Sun to trigger the bite.
Go to where you know they usually bed.
Then start backing out to deeper water 20 feet or so at a time and continue to fish just off bottom, even if you must remove the cork.
They may be as deep as 10 feet.
You will find them nearby and they will bite.
Also, I have noted that red worms work better
when a cool snap has pulled them off the beds.
However, they cannot stand the sight of cricket
when they are on the bed, but they will pickup
a worm and move it off the bed.
They should be back near the beds by 4-5 pm
Saturday afternoon and Sun afternoon when the
water has had time to warm up.
