I've done some sauger in the past few years, and there's several spots below Guntersville you can try. I'm planning on going Friday afternoon. It should be warm, and a great day for it. You welcome to bring a boat and come along. Sometimes it helps to have a tailer hook (treble). Try using swivels to keep the line from wraping around the jig. You gotta have a good quality minnow on the jig. Anyway, hope this helps.
