I know walleye are still in our waters, but I have seldom ever seen any. 1 in 10 compared to sauger may be correct, but my experience doesn't hold with that ratio. I think the walleye population in North Alabama may be extremely over-rated.
Glad to hear that you did catch a few sauger anyway!
