I was bass fishing this morning from North Sauty Creek down to Mountain lakes Resort and saw plenty of bream bedding activity. In several places they wouldn't leave my 5" Yum Dinger alone. I found water temperatures from 66 to just over 68 degrees. I left the lake by 10:30, so I'm sure things got heated up even more this afternoon. The moon will be full on the 24th and I'm pretty sure some of the bream will spawn then. Mid to late May (new moon and full moon) should be "prime" for the bream spawn.
The bass were biting pretty good this morning. I had a two that were pushing the 4 pound mark and a dozen or more between 1-2 pounds. Some were caught on a 'Trap and some on a Dinger.
