As you can see, we've got our share of clowns and cut ups down here ... but we've got some FANTASTIC fishing here on the Tennessee River lakes. Pickwick and Wilson Lakes are LOADED with big smallies. Wheeler lake gives you a good shot at a mixed bag and Guntersville Lake, further upstream, is a big largemouth bass Mecca. You'll find the smallmouth fishing here to be dependent on current from generation at the powerhouses, but they are still agressive critters when the bite is on.
North Alabama is a pretty good place to live ... if you like a laid back lifestyle. Most folks you meet here are friendly and quick to offer help if needed. Best of luck to you if you decide to relocate to this area.
