I went twith the Dual Pro SE 2 bank for my trolling batteries. You may want to make a template for the unit you like and check for room. My 16 1/2 Stratos did not have quite enough for the 3 bank. I got the 10 amp mainly for a little quicker charge time for when I'm traveling or fishing 2 or three days in a row. I am also one of those daylight till dark guys, so I run my TM batteries hard. The folks I know that are running the Bass Pro units like them. It is very nice not having to lug chargers around all the time. As for batteries, AC-Delco makes a good one. You may want to look into the gel-cell batteries. I am currently on my 3rd year on a set of gel-cell batteries actually designed as diesel cranking batteries. I average 6 trips per month in excess of 6 hours on the water, and these batteries are still holding up well. Good luck and be safe...
