Right now the water is low 5.10 feet over 549 so
554.10 at Ditto (actually Whiteburg station just to the east). Surface water temp is probably in 55 degree range in the channel and the water is clear.
The Big G Dam is spilling at 51K CFS.
Most fish should be congregated and still relatively deep. I would drift
and vertical a jig (with a tuffy) or slow
retrieve a deep running crank bait.
I always do better from Ditto up to the Dam in low light conditions, especially early in the morining just before dawn.
However, I can only seem to consistently catch fish at my hot spots when the water is closer to the 60-65 degree range and at the 557-558 level at about 71K CFS.
The places I normally fish are just trees laying on dry land right now.
