Bream on the River

The weatherman was wrong once again yesterday. It never got close to 70 degrees! But....The bream were going crazy below Guntersville dam! Went downriver about 5 miles to the mouth of a feeder creek and managed to boat about 60 really nice fish. They were in 14 to 22 feet of water. We were using red worms fishing just off the bottom. It was one of those days that makes fishing fun. We did this in about 3 hours. Probably could have caught twice that many but neither one of us wanted to clean that many. All the flood gates were closed and the river was really low with little current. Good luck!
