I try to be flexible as to topics and content of messages, but there is a point at which some folks push and stretch the line, and a fine line it is in some cases. From experience and the fact that I read everything posted and have extensive logs of everything posted on the NAFF, I can often (not always) see what the average reader will not recognize as a problem in the making. To my regret, I have let stand some posts I questioned initially, only to have them either build into a thread that I found unacceptable for this forum or even worse, lead to more posts along the same lines and pushing the limits of the NAFF rules even further.
As I have said before, my job is not always cut and dried. There is a fine line that determines my decisions in some cases. In any case, that decision falls to me and those decisions are final. I don't make any of them lightly.
Good luck and good fishin'
