I have located what appears to be three or four entire trees....in 45' of water...right on the edge of the main channel which is about 50 deep yesterday (water is down on smith about 15' right now). I was sitting in 45' of water and getting hung up on tree limbs six feet beneath the boat. Depth finder shows what appears to be vertical trees from bottom to surface. Running depth finder on "plus two" sensitivity. There appears to be lots of limbs and baitfish. Tried drifting bream outside of the limb mass yesterday. No hits. Houston/Sipsey River area of Smith Lake.

When can I find big stripers relating to these trees? Any experts out there willing to recommend a strategy?
Any big cats ever suspend in a tree like this?
