They lake is deemed as a private lake. There is a "Residents Only" sign at the luanch. Although I do not know if it is enforced. All boats on the lake are supposed to display a community boat decal. Additionally, I think it is a combustion engine free lake. I have fished there many times with atrificials for bass and bream, mostly from shore but several times from my kayak. I definitely have had much better luck fishing form the bank making parallel casts. Hope this helps.
