Hey Kerry--got those reels in the shop now
As for sauger, we went out today from 12 till dark, and caught between 20 and 25 sauger, but only 6 of the bunch were over 14 and none over 16.5. Bunches of 10 inch sauger.
All but 3 of the fish were caught on just minnows, using size 2 blue wire mustad and 3 #4 weights. Did mess up a tad--broke off a 5lb smallmouth at the boat (using 4 lb line)-jumped the net and broke off at the boat!!!!!!!--would have been a beautiful fish!
Gonna go tomorrow and maybe tuesday and catch some more sauger and hope that smally is still hungry
